Natasha Lloyd Gardens is a garden and planting design studio based in Wimbledon. As professional designers, we can reimagine your garden, transforming it into a well considered space to be enjoyed throughout the seasons.
RHS award winning designer Natasha will work with you to maximise the potential of your garden and create a beautiful yet practical place for relaxing, entertaining and engaging with nature.
Design services
We offer a range of services to match the level of intervention your garden requires.
A design consultancy includes a site visit, discussion and assessment of your garden, with a follow up reference document of planting and hardscaping ideas, suggestions and images.
Alternatively, we can draw up planting plans to redesign your borders. By considering seasonal interest, sourcing shrubs and perennials from reliable local nurseries and then taking care of the planting, we can add to your existing borders or create something entirely new.
Or you can engage us for a full design service. We will tailor the whole garden to your lifestyle needs, creating a unique design that pays close attention to the opportunities your particular site has to offer.
The design process
We start by meeting with you to take a full brief of your requirements and wish list for the garden. We then commission a topographical survey of your garden and undertake a site analysis to fully assess the space. Based on these, we will draw up concept sketches, create mood boards and submit a proposal for the work ro be completed.
Once you are happy with the design ideas, we create a detailed CAD masterplan and scaled construction drawings, source samples and specify materials and lighting. We can then help you engage landscapers to construct the design.
Next steps
Once the hard landscaping is addressed, we will draw up planting designs for the borders in your new garden to create year round interest and beauty, paying close attention to colour, form and texture.
We source the new plants from trusted suppliers and offer a full planting service.
Good aftercare is essential to ensure your lovely new garden continues to thrive. We can draw up a maintenance schedule to help you keep your garden looking great, or liaise with your gardeners if this is something you prefer to outsource.
About
Natasha trained at the KLC School of Design, graduating with Distinction. She received the St Ann's Special School Best Therapeutic Garden award for her series of sensory garden designs for both students and staff.
In 2023 Natasha and fellow designer Emma-Jayne Blair created a show garden designed for the visually impaired at RHS Tatton Flower Show. Sponsored by the RNIB, our 'Seeing Through the Senses' long border was awarded a gold medal, and the planting design was highly praised by the judges.
Prior to her career change Natasha worked as a primary school teacher and private tutor. She has a particular interest in horticultural therapy and gardening to promote children's mental wellbeing, and has completed pro bono design work for school gardens.
